Door Contact Module is a small accessory which is used for detecting the status of doors and windows. It can be mainly divided into two parts: the first part has lead and is installed in the fixed doorframe, the lead is connected to controller; the second part doesn’t have lead, it is a piece of magnetic object which have a different polarity comparing with the lead part, and is installed in the active door leaf and align at the lead part. The work theory of door sensor: lead part have a small reed pipe, the reed pipe keeps normal open when it doesn’t align at the part without the lead, (Door opened) and output signal of two leads is a normal open dry contact signal; when the door closed, two parts of door sensor will align at each other, and reed pipe of lead part will close via magnetic field function, and output signal of two leads is normal close dry contact signal. It’s convenient to monitor the door status of openness or closeness via changing status of door sensor. Door sensor of iron door has advantages: such as powerful magnetic force, smart reaction, convenient installation and etc. When you want to install it, just need to open a corresponding round hole in the doorframe and door leaf, then install door sensor into the hole.

Door Contact Module is mainly applied to computer room where is installed the important equipments, such as the computer room for telecom, mobile communication. The sensor can monitor computer room status, open or close. At same time, in order to prevent illegal personnel from entering, guarantee computer room to work normally and prevent equipments from being stolen.
